    Probably a "3.5" average -but I'll rate at 4 since the people are always nice.

    901:  I love that this is a LOCAL Chain in Memphis -been here for decades. What makes them unique to me is their TINY TEA BISCUITS & GRAVY served with their fried chicken.

    Food = Inconsistent.  Sometimes it's ON POINT!  Chicken is seasoned. Think:  better than KFC original when it comes out hot & fresh.  Sadly, more than once I've been disappointed.

    Location:  No place for "Date Night".  It's walk-up or drive-thru only.  No dining in!  Location is sketchy -be aware of your surroundings!  (BTW.  It's MY neighborhood, so I'm not judging others here).

    Cleanliness:  It doesn't look very appealing on the outside & you can't see much inside. But they have good health scores, so I'll trust the inspectors & leave it alone.

    Service:  Been coming here for MANY years & whoever's at the window is typically pleasant & we will have a quick conversation.

    Bargains:  Happy Hour is from 3p - 6p.  Items include a  2piece dark + biscuit + gravy for only $2.99.  Other 99 cent specials too!

    This location closes at 9pm (no late night specials here).

    Good Chicken Sandwiches!  

    Look for COUPONS in the local papers/flyers/etc.  Frequently have Buy 1, Get 1 half-off.

    I only wish they had spicy chicken.  But I'm like Beyoncé (I got hot sauce in my car) so I'm okay!

    Being in Memphis provides you with so many choices but this right here!!! Superior chicken, fresh and golden brown made to order. The dipping gravy that was genius biscuits are soft and small enough break for the meal.
    Now the tropical tea is where's its at that is in its own right a staple of a greatness. Great good fresh and made to order but beware sometime the wait exceeds your patience but it worth it!

    I only give one star but it deserves ZERO.   They are all over facebooks and the web that a 2 piece is $1.99 is their happy hour price from 3-6 weekdays

    I rolled in and they said it would be $3.27

    For a small thigh and a leg and biscuit and gravy.  

    What false advertising!!!!!!    I'll hit KFC or Popeyes.  

    Pls quit publishing prices on Facebook and web site and then pull a

    BAIT and SWITCH

    Plus the guy was super rude about it.  

    It's not the money but the fact they deceive.

    Let's keep in mind I LOVE MY JACK PIRTLES, but this location SUCKS. The people who work here are mean. I wonder are they mean because they get paid pennies?! Hmm. Anyway, they have forgotten my peppers TWICE, and I'm tired of getting my order and waiting in line a million years for warm chicken. The s*** ain't even hot! Trust me I'll go to the one on Jackson before I ever waste my time here again. Never!!!

    If you want a good ol chicken box, this is you're spot! And what's different is it comes with this peppery gravy for dipping I guess.
